After getting a slight scolding from the reception staff for being 3 mins late, we hurriedly took our seats and had barely enough time to take in the simple but sufficient set. Inwardly, I was wary too of the 4 man cast, but it turns out I was in for quite a surprise! Although the grave theme i.e. 'apartheid inter-racial relationship struggles' was easily gleamed from the reviews, the movement and the powerful yet sometimes over-rehearsed conversations kept me captivated and engaged. And O.M.G., should I mention the intimacy on stage was like none I had ever seen?!
